Donald has had a long and distiguished career as an artist. Donald is qualified Industrial Ceramic Designer, and uses these combined skills designing his pottery, so jugs dont drip, bowls are useful sizes, and jewellery is unique and very different!
Donald has presented his work to President Bill Clinton, has shown work in the RDS summer exhibition and has taken on private commisions for individuals and companies around the British Isles.

Welcome to Portaferry, a small sea side town, with a car ferry to the other side of Strangford Lough. It's a beautiful place to live, at the end of a peninsula. We work from a wooden shed in the back garden, and we live in a cottage, we are surrounded bt ancient trees, which are full of wild badgers and red squirrels, and the sea not far away, we have plenty to inspire all of our work.
