Donald: I qualified in Fine Art and Industrial Ceramics in 1965.  I then became the head designer for Wades Potteries in 1967, holding the same position in Royal Barum and Arklow Potteries, before becomeing Art teacher in Downpatrick Higher & Further Education College, where I was head of department for 21 years.

Heather: I am a keen Photographer and Artist, and I also include such hobbies as Patchwork,   and I make all the Jewellery, much of which is hand woven, in Celtic patterns.
Bowls, hand thrown, each a work of art, original and completly new! 
in the summer you can it in The Port, a little co-operative shop, in Ferry Street, Portaferry, along with 11 other co-op art and craft members' work, and other selected craft work.
All th eCo-operative members are professional Artists and Craftsmen/women.
